We are delighted to announce that Mobi Solutions has acquired Indilo Wireless.

Mobile software development team at Mobi Solutions has established itself as an expert in delivering mission-critical Android, Java, Blackberry and iPhone apps to corporate customers. Indilo Wireless, having created and published over 75 iPhone and iPad apps since 2008, will be a good addition to further strengthen Mobi’s iOS development capabilities.

The acquisition does not include browserbooks service Publification.com, which continues to operate as a separate entity owned by its founders.

Mobi and Indilo teams are looking forward to creating some kick-ass apps together!

Our team took part of 3 month long mentorship-led accelerator program for start-ups called Springboard. Program took place in Cambridge, UK.

During the first month team met with about 100 mentors with various backgrounds, including experienced entrepreneurs and venture capitalists.

Publification team established personal contacts with three major book publishers in UK, who where interested in Publification publishing platform and our industry specific services.

Many thanks to organizers of this program (specially Jon and Jess), mentors and other teams who made this 3 month in Cambridge really valuable and memorable!

Indilo team is one of ten teams out of 230 applicants from around the world, who is participating in 3 month long Springboard program in UK.

Springboard is an intensive mentorship-led acceleration program is taking place at Cambridge University.

Indilo Publification.com team is at San Francisco and attending at Web 2.0 Expo (http://www.web2expo.com/webexsf2011).

With Estonian delegation to San Francisco, organized by Tehnopol and supported by Enterprise Estonia (EAS), several site visits (including to Google, Nokia etc) and meetings are also planned.

Today Estonia celebrates the national mother language day (Emakeelepäev in Estonian). It is a day to celebrate the beautiful language Estonian is. National flags are hoist and ceremonies are held in schools. So it is a perfect opportunity to introduce another part of our Publification.com paltform – publishing dictionaries.

We are proud to announce that second multimedia-rich childrens book has been published to Apple AppStore using publification.com platform. The book “Jänku Juss 2″ was combined for lasteveeb.ee in an hour or so and uploaded in just a few days after receiving the source material. The first version includes voice over from famous Estonian actotor Venno Loosaar allowing small children to interact with the book without supervision.

Janika Leoste from lasteveeb.ee says they are pleased with the first version of the book and cannot wait until the next version is published that includes event more interactivity and some animation as well.

Jaana Metsamaa from publification.com says that ultimately the goal is to to loose the line between an interactive childrens book and animated cartoon and bring together the best parts from both worlds.
